Tracy Barnett and Brandon Briggs of BRG Receive CoreNet Global’s Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR)
BRG is pleased to announce that two additional members of our team, Tracy Barnett and Brandon Briggs, recently earned the Corporate Real Estate industry’s most prestigious designation—Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR)—by CoreNet Global, the world’s leading professional association for corporate real estate and workplace executives.
Tracy, a distinguished CoreNet Global faculty member, earned the Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) while Brandon earned the Master of Corporate Real Estate – Workplace (MCR.w). The MCR designation provides essential skills that focus on critical business issues and the mission of the RE organization in relation to corporate goals. The MCR.w designation provides the same valuable lessons and curriculum as the MCR, however the Workplace specialty track is intended to support the evolving focus of CRE and provides candidates with a strong foundation in specifically the field of workplace strategy. This year marks only the second graduating class with the MCR.w designation.
The CoreNet Global MCR professional designation was established in 1982, and is part of a comprehensive career development program for the corporate real estate industry. The MCR provides essential skills that focus on critical business issues, and reflects strategic competence and successful experience as a corporate real estate expert.
“The number of MCR graduates in the last few years is a testament to the importance and respect of the designation within the corporate real estate industry,” said Angela Cain, CEO of CoreNet Global. “Both Tracy Barnett and Brandon Briggs join a distinguished class of MCR graduates, who have received extensive training and practical experience, and demonstrated professional competence and a high level of industry knowledge in the field.”
