In a shift from participating and sponsoring local user groups, BRG recently conducted its first virtual BRG-
ARCHIBUS Users’ Group Session attended by an international group of end users. If you were able to attend, THANK YOU for your participation. If you weren’t able to attend, below you’ll find a wrap-up of the session.
First, we’d like to thank Tim Schreiner, Sr. Facilities Planner for Raytheon, for presenting an implementation spotlight of the
ARCHIBUS deployment at Raytheon Company . We’d also like to thank the attendees that participated in the post-session survey, for providing fantastic input to steer future meetings.
Registration v. Connectivity

As you can see in the breakdown on the left, the majority of connections to the virtual meeting were
ARCHIBUS users. We understand the actual number of attendees was a higher number due to multiple users logging in under a single WebEx connection. However, the registrations we received thus far out-numbered actual user connections. Please bear in mind, that this Users’ group is for you, the user. In order for it to be successful, the group must rely on your attendance and active participation. Please let us know how we can ensure this by making the content so relevant that you can’t afford to miss it.
BRG Asked, You Answered…

In order to ensure the most valuable Users’ Group experience, we asked you what you’d find most beneficial in future sessions and how often you’d like to attend. We received an overwhelming response for
Quarterly Meetings and continued
"Tips and Tricks.”
Keep in mind that these meetings will only be relevant and will only continue with your participation. If your organization would be willing to present during the "End User Spotlight” portion of a session, please let us know –
marketing@brg.com. We are currently lining up speakers for Q1 and Q2 of 2012.
We’re looking forward to UNUM’s presentation at the next BRG-
ARCHIBUS Users’ Group on November 3, 2011 at 2pm CST.
The Floor is Open…
We gave you the floor to suggest future session topics, additions or improvements. These are some of the responses that we received. If you feel differently or agree, please let us know. This is your Users’ Group, help us customize it for you.
"More tips and shortcuts.”
"Drawing publishing with AutoCAD overlay…Building Operations.”
"Possibly the ability to open the phone lines for Q&A?”
"Spotlight on BRG people (SMEs).”
"Module implementation lessons learned.”
"Smart Client Extension demonstration. Live demonstration of a customer implementation (for example, several examples of the move process, several examples of service desk, etc.). Maybe have a theme for the meeting (for example, all tips and tricks and demos around moves).”
"Upgrading – cost, lessons learned, timelines.”
"Loved the Tips and Tricks.”
Until Next Time…
If you attended our session, again,
THANK YOU! If you weren’t able to attend, the group is counting on your participation in the next meeting. The next session will be held virtually on November 3rd at 2pm CST. Remember, if you have any questions or comments about the sessions, please contact our marketing team,
